Privacy Policy

Vertex (app.thevrtx.space) is a platform for businesses that answers their customers in messaging apps using an AI assistant, and sends transactional WhatsApp notifications through the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) by Meta.

Our customers are companies and sole traders (each a “Business”). Data about end recipients is processed on behalf of, and under a contract with, that Business.

• Business account data: name, email address, company name.
• Message recipient contact data: phone number, name, email address.
• Conversation content between the recipient and the Business, including AI assistant replies.
• Booking or order data: date and time, service, staff member, amount — used in the message text.
• Facebook instant form (Lead Ads) answers in full — the fields the Business asked for in its own form: usually name, phone number and email address, though the Business chooses the set.
• The advertising click referral: the click identifier (ctwa_clid), the identifier and kind of the ad, its headline, body and source URL — sent by Meta with the first message of a person who arrived from an ad.
• The Business’s own advertising account data: spend, impressions, clicks, reach, and the names and status of campaigns, ad sets and ads. This is the Business’s own data, not the recipients’.
• Integration credentials (access tokens) — stored encrypted at rest.
• Technical message delivery logs.

• Delivering transactional notifications about bookings and orders.
• Answering enquiries sent to a Business in messaging apps.
• Advertising reporting for the Business itself: which ad a client came from and what it cost.
• Delivery tracking, fault diagnosis and service support.
• Invoicing and usage accounting.

Access tokens are encrypted at rest and data is transferred over TLS/HTTPS. Each Business’s data is isolated: access is verified on every request rather than assumed. Phone numbers are masked in logs.

The primary store — the database and files — is hosted on servers in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and so are its backups.

Some data is necessarily processed outside Kazakhstan by the providers without which the service cannot be delivered: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Ireland, European Union) for WhatsApp message delivery, and for the leads from the Business’s advertising forms and the figures of its advertising account that we read from Meta; and Anthropic PBC (USA) for composing the AI assistant’s reply. Such transfers carry only what the send, the reply or the report itself requires.

Card details — the number, expiry date and CVV/CVC — are entered on the secure page of the payment provider LLP "PayLink.kz" and are never passed to Vertex or stored by it. From the provider we receive the outcome of the transaction, its identifier, the amount and the date — enough to issue an invoice and a completion certificate, and to investigate a disputed payment.

The exchange with Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Cloud API, Graph API) happens for three things: delivering transactional notifications; sending and receiving the messages of a conversation with the Business’s customers; and reading — on the Business’s behalf and with its own access — the leads from its advertising forms and the figures of its advertising account, for a report that Business itself sees. We do not send conversion events back to Meta.

Data is shared with Anthropic to generate AI assistant replies, and with infrastructure providers (hosting, database) to the extent the service requires. We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to ad networks for targeting; advertising data is used only for the Business’s own report.

Data is retained for the term of the contract with the Business and is deleted on request, or within 90 days of the contract ending, unless the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan requires otherwise.
